AIFormula’s MCP server lets Claude read LearnFormula’s course catalog, its records of accrediting bodies’ continuing-education requirements and your own learning records, so you can ask about your CPD hours and find courses that count without leaving your assistant. It only reads: it can’t change anything.
The address, the same for everyone:
https://aiformula.com/mcpWhat you need
- A LearnFormula account. If you don’t have one, you can sign up free when you connect.
- Claude (on the web, desktop or mobile) or Claude Code. Other assistants, ChatGPT included, can’t connect yet.
What it can read
accrediting_body: A professional or accrediting body’s continuing-education requirement as LearnFormula records it: hours, reporting period, notes and credit categories.search_courses: LearnFormula courses on a subject, optionally only those listed for a body, a credit category of it, a maximum length or a level. With a body, each course says whether completing it counts toward that body.my_credit_progress: Your LearnFormula credit tracker: the body it counts toward, the current reporting period, the hours recorded and still needed, what the courses you’re enrolled in would add, and the study plan you kept in AIFormula.my_courses: The LearnFormula courses you’re taking, with progress and hours, and the YouTube videos you watched in AIFormula.memory: What you asked AIFormula to remember about you, such as your profession, your goals and your credential.
Connect in Claude
- In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, and choose Add custom connector.
- Name it AIFormula, enter
https://aiformula.com/mcpas its URL and add it. - Press Connect. Claude opens AIFormula, where you sign in with your LearnFormula account (or sign up), check the account it names, and press Allow.
On Team and Enterprise plans an owner adds the connector for the organization once; each member then presses Connect and signs in as themselves. Once connected, it also works in Claude’s desktop and mobile apps.
Connect in Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http --scope user aiformula https://aiformula.com/mcpThen run /mcp in Claude Code, choose aiformula and Authenticate. Your browser opens AIFormula to sign in and press Allow.
Try asking
- How many CPD hours do I still need this reporting period?
- What does CPA Ontario require each year?
- Find me a short ethics course that counts toward my body.
- Which of my LearnFormula courses haven’t I finished, and how many hours would they add?
What it can’t do
- Change anything. It can’t enrol you, complete a lesson, change the body your credit tracker follows or edit your Memory. Do those in AIFormula or LearnFormula.
- Give lesson content, quizzes or transcripts, or links to courses.
- Speak for an accrediting body. Hours, periods and what counts toward a body are LearnFormula’s records, which can differ from the body’s current rules: check the current requirement with your body.
- Connect assistants other than Claude, for now.
Disconnecting
Remove the AIFormula connector in Claude’s Connectors settings, or run claude mcp remove aiformula -s user in Claude Code, and your assistant stops using it. A connection also ends on its own after 90 days unused, and a year after you made it. To end one on our side sooner, write to support@learnformula.com.
Privacy and support
What a connected assistant can read, and how we handle it, is in section 3(g) of the Privacy Policy; your use of it is covered by the Terms of Use. For help, write to support@learnformula.com.
